RESUMÉS
Clare Simpson
jumped straight in at the deep end, and began her dancing career with the Shropshire-based Appalachian team, Kickin' Alice . She is one of the founder members of Raise the Dust in 1992.

Lizzie Passmore
originally danced with the prestigious Oyster Morris (based in Canterbury) before moving to Mid-Wales, when she joined Kickin' Alice . She too is a founder member of Raise the Dust .
Rosie Green
joined Raise the Dust in 1995. Her singing adds another dimension to Raise the Dust's performances. With a voice ideally suited to Old Time songs, Rosie pursues her own musical career as a solo performer and as a duo with Charlie Beresford. For further information visit their website Brightfield Productions , or email Rosie .
Geraldine King
began dancing Morris with The Knots of May , then with Cuckoo's Nest (both Sussex based), before joining Broken Ankles in 1986. In a break from performance dancing, she spent a couple of years tap dancing for fun and joined Raise the Dust in 1996 on moving to the Welsh borders.
Alice Savery
used to practice with us before she went off to university and has now (several years later!) joined us as a performing member of the team. It's good to have her back.  She introduced Louise to Appalachian Dancing.
Louise Chesshire
joined us at the same time as Alice having not danced as such since she was a child.  Louise is a talented designer-maker of contemporary silver and jewellery.  Take a look at her designs at www.louisemarydesigns.co.uk or email her at louise@louisemarydesigns.co.uk.
Judith Scrogham
came to a couple of our Autumn 2009 workshops and decided she'd like to join.  She had dabbled with Westmoreland and Lancashire Clog Dance in the past.
Pippa Tee
also came to two of our Autumn 2009 workshops, enjoyed them so decided to join us too. Pippa is a Landscape Designer and would welcome enquiries. Email her at: pippatee@hotmail.com
Pete Damsell
not only provides superb fiddle and banjo accompaniment for our dancing but also plays English and French dance music with various bands. He is chairman of the Montgomeryshire based Folk Arts Support charity TASC. For further information or bookings contact Pete.
